Day 3 - Things That Make You Uncomfortable

Time for another post!

Today's prompt was a little tougher...you'd think it would be easy thinking of things that make you uncomfortable, but I've been trying for a few days and have come up with NOTHING!  In the literal sense, 8.5 months pregnant in August in muggy Bellingham was pretty darn uncomfortable, but as far as situationally, turns out, I'm quite comfortable in most situations!

Adam, however, was quick to say that for him, silence is uncomfortable, which makes sense if you've ever had a conversation with the guy, he sure knows how to keep the talking points coming! Me, on the other hand, I'll stare you down like nobody's business if we run out of conversation, or, like the other day when I was trying to think of something light to talk about with my boss, came up with, "Do you know how excited I am to eat mac and cheese at Boundary Bay tonight?" or the go to favorite, "Did you watch the Voice/Real Housewives/Modern Family last night?"  We luckily have almost the exact same taste in evening television programming...

And now for your daily Harrison fix...

This is the new toy Harrison got for Christmas from Adam's parents. Still needs to work on the core strength before he's racing down the driveway though...
Adam sent this picture to me today at work...umm, Harrison? You have to learn to crawl before you stand! Apparently, he's not one to follow the rules... We will have our hands full in a few years (months!!).
We've started to pack up the house, slowly but surely.  All of the decor has been taken down, nail holes patched up, donations to Goodwill dropped off.  Although we are so looking forward to the next chapter, it's a little bittersweet leaving this place.  We've had many good memories in this 1100 square foot little home, but it will be great to be moving, eventually, into a home we own that we can make new memories in!

We have another busy weekend ahead of us, then 4 days of work, then we'll be driving off into the sunset!

  1. Juniper got a similar bike for her birthday. She can walk it around the house like a champ, but she is an inch or two from being able to actually ride it. Details, details. :)

My sister's nephew walked before he crawled, then decided it would actually be easier to crawl. So, he crawled for a few months before going back to walking. Babies, man. They do what they want!
